Emily is a junior in McClellan. She enjoys writing for SNLville, acting in Impulse, and performing in the school’s musicals. Her favorite form of creative writing is play writing and she has written two plays which have been performed and produced across the country.

Alistair is a junior in Woodhull. Apart from creative writing. Alistair is part of the Sustainability and Wellness Councils, various music groups, and the Medical League. His favorite form of creative writing is Poetry.

Mr. August, Faculty Advisor
Born in Scotland in 1966, Mr. August left behind an early athletic career to become a renowned chef in London. By the early 2000s he was making his mark on British TV as the temperamental host of August’s Kitchen Nightmares and Hell’s Kitchen, shows that made a successful transition to American audiences. The award-winning chef has since expanded his celebrity brand via such programs as MasterChef and Hotel Hell and opening more restaurants around the globe.
